A starter is an electrical motor, which provides the mechanical energy to rotate the engine until the engine begins to run on its own. Once the starter pinion gear disengages from the flywheel the starter’s job is done.
With more than 2,300 different starters, we cover not only passenger cars and vehicles of nearly all brands, but also marine, construction and agricultural applications. Furthermore, our range covers 95% of the European car park. New applications will continuously be added to the product range and made available online here and on TecDoc.
Plug & Play
The delivered starter is complete and ready to be mounted. In case of special requirements when installing the product, information is to be found attached to the supplied starter.
Test and Quality
All starters are tested, inspected, and delivered with an individual test report. Both spare parts and the final product are tested. Parts are remanufactured based on specification and instruction created at the development stage. All specified parameters are checked against defined limits, and only parts which pass all test lines can be re-used. If a part does not pass the test it is either repaired or exchanged by a new part.
